Ever since the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, declared that failure of Southeast governors to secure the lives and property of Igbo people led to the formation of the Eastern Security Network.

In a statement he issued yesterday, Kanu said the Southeast and South-South regions have resolved to defend their territories from terrorism and extra-judicial killings.
