International Afrobeats singer, Aydeji Ibrahim Balogun better known by his stage name, Wizkid has been presented with a BMI Award for his contribution to Drake’s global hit ‘One Dance’.
The Nigerian superstar was recently spotted in London with Ghanaian artiste King Promise holding the award plaque.
In a video which is making rounds online, Wizkid and King Promise could be seen holding the BMI gold certification award at an outdoor lounge with friends while Mr Eazi’s Skintight blares from the speakers.
“One Dance” released in 2016, was written by Wizkid along with other writers Aubrey Drake Graham, Paul Anthony Jefferies, Noah Shebib, Kyla Smith, Errol Reid, Luke Reid, Corey Bruce Johnson.
King Promise shared the video of both him and Wizkid holding the certificate in their hand.
He captioned the clip; “London what you sayingggg … sun is out ! boutta be a mad summer”.
