Chaos erupted in the Idi-Araba area of Lagos state today June 7, as motorcyclists popularly known as Okada riders, and police officers clashed.
The police officers were in the area to enforce the ban on motorcyclist operations in some parts of the state when they were attacked by the irate motorcyclists.
Recall that on May 18, the Lagos state government announced a ban on Okada operations in six local government areas namely Ikeja, Surulere, Eti-Osa, Lagos Mainland, Apapa, and Lagos Island.
