Renown Yoruba movie actress and movie producer, Iyabo Ojo has taken to her Instagram handle to share her opinion on the rape scandal of Baba Ijesha.
Olanrewaju James popularly known as Baba Ijesha has been accused of rape and this has gotten the social media shaking.

In her words, “Since yesterday I’ve been seeing a lot of posts. People using baba Ijesha’s pictures. Some are saying he was framed and so on”. She however pleaded with other actors and actresses not to try to defend the criminal act rather wait for the verdict by the court.

She however added that the public should not try to give any excuse for rape and molestation. In the five minutes video, she made mention that “He molested and raped the child seven years ago like the child said. They set him up with a camera and he fell”.

She further pleaded that “Until we hear the final verdict of the court, no one should ask for the video to be uploaded on the internet”.

She expressed her displeasure with people trying to defend Baba Ijesha with claims that ‘He is a celebrity and his image needs to be protected’.

Paedophiles however are meant to be taken off the streets for the sake of the coming generation. She however concluded that people should stop supporting indecent acts.
