Residents of Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto state on Tuesday, stormed the streets to protest rising insecurity in the communities.
It was learnt that they lamented over incessant attacks which has caused indigenes and residents to flee, according to SaharaReporters.
The protesters set bonfires and were said to have blocked major roads leading into and out of Goronyo as they demanded the state and federal governments’ rise up to their responsibilities of protecting lives and properties.
