Gunmen suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen have attacked another community in Ebonyi state, Aliyu Garba, the commissioner of police, has confirmed to NAN.
The attack took place hours after the governors of the south-east region announced the formation of a joint security outfit, codenamed ‘Ebube Agu’.
According to Sahara Reporters, the gunmen are currently attacking Ngbo community, close to Otunyi in Ebonyi state.
Newsmen gathered that the gunmen stormed the community around 6:30am, shooting sporadically.
The attack is coming few days after suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded four communities of Egedege, Umuhuali, Obegu and Amezu in Ishielu Local Government Area of the state, killing over 30 people.
